Freight factoring
- Program options
- Both recourse and non-recourse are offered. True Non-Recourse covers qualifying broker nonpayment, including qualifying cases where the broker remains in business.
- Pricing
- Business-specific rates depend on volume and selected program. General freight-industry rate ranges in educational material are not an OTR offer.
- Selection
- No monthly volume minimums; choose brokers to factor. After starting with a broker, further invoices for that broker must be factored until release.
- Eligibility
- Business information and required documents are reviewed. FAQ says no credit check is required to get started with freight factoring; approval is still required.
- Funding
- Same-day and Truly Instant Funding options apply to approved invoices and eligible carriers. Confirm your payout method and fee schedule.
- Collections
- OTR invoices the broker and collects payment. Disputes and chargebacks depend on the program and circumstances.
- Contract
- Agreement length and requirements vary by program. Stopping requires compliance with termination provisions and settlement of outstanding invoices or balances.
- Advance and reserves
- Request the invoice-specific net advance and any holdback; no universal advance percentage or reserve policy is established here.
