Freight invoice factoring
- Eligibility and documents
- Application, operating authority and insurance are requested; existing operators also provide their customer list. Delivery verification uses rate confirmation, bill of lading and supporting paperwork.
- Pricing
- Customized to average freight rate, volume, customer mix and frequency; flat or tiered structures may apply. No universal numerical fee or advance percentage is established.
- Flexibility
- No monthly minimums or long-term contracts are advertised. FAQ states no monthly or cancellation fees.
- Invoice selection
- You need not factor every customer, but once a customer is selected Apex asks for all invoices to that customer.
- Recourse options
- Recourse and non-recourse are available. Recourse requires repayment for unpaid invoices; non-recourse covers specified customer credit defaults. Obtain the exact exclusions.
- Funding
- Payment follows delivery verification. blynk, ACH, wire, check and fuel-card options are available; timing depends on the option and eligibility.
- After-hours service
- 24/7 funding is for qualified clients using the designated process, including nights and weekends. Do not assume every invoice qualifies.
- Collections
- Apex handles customer collections. Payments mistakenly sent directly to you on factored invoices must be forwarded to Apex.
