When it may fit

Our assessment of the published programs

  • Eligible rural Alberta women entrepreneurs seeking startup or growth capital.

What to weigh carefully

  • Confirm current program intake, all forgiveness conditions and the local service area; conditional forgiveness is not automatic.

Questions before you accept an offer

  1. Is the program currently accepting applications and is my location covered?
  2. What events could prevent the conditional loan portion being forgiven?

Ask for written terms. Compare net cash received, total repayment, fees, payment timing and early-payoff costs for the same financing need.

Prepare your comparison

Use the same questions and figures for each offer you receive.
